They don't care. We took delivery of a living room set today. It looked good as the delivery people assembled it and set it up. Just after they left, on looking things over we discovered the following: 1. The glass topped coffee and end tables were assembled with bits of white Styrofoam packing material stuck between the glass and wood. ' 2, The end table does not sit flat on the floor. There is at least 1/4 inch of wobble. I thought maybe one of the foot skids was missing but they are all there. It just wasn't made right. 3. The furniture pad is much larger than the carpet. They tell me I have to trim it myself. 4. As the delivery people installed the carpet and furniture, they had to move some clutter on the floor to make room. Just after they left I discovered they had knocked over a bottle of water next to the carpet. It ran under the carpet and pad (which is like a sponge) soaking about 2 square feet of the pad and some of the carpet. 5. The rug was tightly rolled as they brought it in. I can't make it lie flat and can't see how it ever will considering it is on a rubber pad and has furniture on it. I called the customer service center and they can't send someone until a week from today. I called the store sales person and was told the same thing. That means we have to live with a corner of the carpet and pad flipped up to dry out, furniture out of place to try to allow the carpet to stretch , and defective tables for a while. Needless to say, we're unhappy after spending close to $3000. I talked with the sales manager and offered to send this review before I posted it. She said she wanted to see it. It has now been two hours since I sent it and she hasn't called back. Apparently she doesn't care. Update 11/26/17: The "technician" did come out a week later and took apart and reassembled the tables cleaning out the Styrofoam and touching up some nicks the installers had left. The carpet and pad dried out without apparent permanent damage. We trimmed the pad ourselves. The carpet will still not lay flat and the technician said I should "take it up with the store" after he submits his report and they contact us -- in "3 to 5 working days". He thinks it may be a manufacturers defect. Update: They never did contact us!
